Valentine’s Day is the day designated to celebrate love.  But here at the Coop, we believe love should be celebrated every day and bring happiness and light into everyone’s life.  Unfortunately, for these couples who loved deeply and passionately, things ended tragically in one way or another.  But as the saying goes, “It’s better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all.”

This box contains 14 mini skeins, DK weight, and 1 full size DK Skein.  The box also contains a project bag and a few notions that will tug at your heart.

This is not a calendar type box, but the skeins are wrapped and numbered.  The mini skeins are wrapped in groups of two, representing a couples that are star-crossed lovers from literature, history or movies. None of the skeins are identical, but together, all of them form a fade set.  There are clues to identify the couples.  The person who can identify all the couples (not the book or movie in which they are portrayed) wins a prize.  Go to the Chicken Coop Dyeworks forum to find out more and to post your guesses.
