100% SW Blueface Leicester, 875 yrds, 100 gms Blue-Faced Liecester wool is one of the blue-ribbon fibers for hand knitting and crocheting. BFL is between 24-28 microns and a 6″ staple length, making it not as “fine” as merino, but with a longer staple length, it won’t pill easily. This wool has beautiful stitch definition, softens upon washing, and provides a sturdy fabric great for sweaters, shawls, haps and other clothing items. Being wool, it takes dye beautifully. Thistle is wonderful to use for shawls, pi shawls, table runners, and any other fine needlework.
